Company History

Krupp Construction was founded in 1962 in rural Manchester, Missouri by Lester Krupp shortly after his return from military service.  A small fleet of only 2 pieces of equipment began by constructing roads for local farmers and property owners.  As more people began to move into the area, a demand for infrastructure began to grow.  The company quickly grew to begin bidding Municipal and County work to meet this growing demand.

Simple Beginnings

Into the Future

With the growing economy in the 1980s and 90s, Krupp expanded into one of the largest civil construction companies in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.  Having capabilities ranging from excavating to asphalt paving and concrete work, Krupp began working on major State Highway Projects.  The eventual addition of a bridge division in the early 2000s added to the diversity of services that Krupp Construction offers to this day.  Presently Krupp Construction maintains a steady presence in the St. Louis Metropolitan market, providing quality work to the City of St. Louis and the State of Missouri.

A Family Tradition

We take great pride that multiple generations of multiple families have worked at Krupp throughout our entire history.  We strive to continue this tradition for many years to come.
